UI/UX Design Foundation Course
The UI/UX Design Foundation Course is designed for beginners who want to understand how digital products are planned, structured, and visually crafted to deliver meaningful user experiences. This course introduces students to core design principles, user-centered design, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and interface creation. Learners will work with industry-standard tools such as Figma and Adobe XD to design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. By the end of the course, students will understand how to design products that solve real user problems and be prepared to continue into advanced UI, UX, or product design paths.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Understand the difference between UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design.
• Identify key roles such as UI designer, UX researcher, product designer, and interaction designer.
• Apply foundational design principles including layout, color, typography, and hierarchy.
• Conduct basic user research, create personas, user stories, and user journeys.
• Create wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma or Adobe XD.
• Understand usability principles and perform simple usability tests.
• Design responsive interfaces for mobile and web platforms.
• Build and organize a beginner-level UI/UX portfolio.
• Develop a personalized roadmap for progressing into professional UI/UX design.
